Islander 36 Broken Mast-Repair or Replace

The mast on my Islander 36 snapped due to a broken chain plate. I need information on repairing it or a source for a used mast. I can't afford to have a new one made.

Didn't you have insurance?

They should cover something such as this if you did!

Since the chain plate broke and had some corrosion on it, the insurance co. won't pay anything. They also cited the moderate winds 25 mph on the day of the failure.

if it collapsed and buckled your out of luck but if it broke clean you can sleeve it
