I bought a 1983 25' S2 several weeks ago, but having a problem getting the manual sink water pump to work. The water tank is full, I unscrewed the knob on the sink, pumped it about 50 times and still no water comes out. Any thoughts on repairing it? I appreciate it!

I don't know the model used by S2 on your boat (I have pressure water), but I'd probably unhook the connection to the pump, hold it below the tank level and make sure I have flow. The pump is probably bone dry if it hasn't been used in a while, so you might want to take a scrap of hose, attach it to the bottom of the pump, fill the hose with water and hold it above the level of the pump to provide some head to facilitate priming.

On my 1975 hunter 25 I had good results by taking the pump/tap completely apart, cleaning it well, and replacing the o-rings. It worked well for three years (I sold the boat, it might still be working). I found the o-rings at Ace hardware, less than five dollars.

You might want to lubricate the o-rings with a little vaseline if you put in new, to lubricate and get a better seal. This might help also if you use the pump infrequently.

Silicone grease would work well on those new o rings.
