Ok, here's an opportunity for adventurous browsers to help beta test another significant new HOW feature. And it's *far* less complicated than the forums were. We've got a prototype of a new, database-driven boats/specs/photos section. It's actually more like a home page for your Hunter model. Check it out at:http://www.sailboatowners.com/boats/If you would, please check all the links on your own model, and maybe a couple of others. - Right now, we want to check to be sure you're seeing all the photos, ads, reviews, and owners listed properly. - I'm not as worried right now about the accuracy of specifications on a given boat; there will be plenty of time for that later. To report a problem, use the "report an inaccuracy" link at the bottom of the page. Thanks! This is the first step toward customized home pages and I appreciate your assistance!

Phil:There seems to be several problems with the pictures. Just checked out the Vision 32 and something wrong there too. Will see if I can make you a list.Steve

Great idea, Phil. It looks like everything is there for the H33, except there is a flaw in the "Search the HOW Emporium for items for this model." That search seems to pull up all items that are customized for various models without regard to whether there is an item available for the H33. For example, it lets me see Mainsail covers and pedestal covers even though they are not listed for the H33.

Great input here and in my email! Thank you all - this saves me hours, espeically on my pitiful 28.8 connection at home!A couple notes: we have no photos yet of the 290 (at least, photos good enough to put here). I'll check into the Emporium issue on the 33. That sound slike a glitch in the store. Thank you again! In about a week these boat model pages will also carry links to the stories and other features of the home page, so they can be used as an alternate home page (or like a special web site, even) for those who want an extremely model-centric site.

So I am to assume that the 340 pictured at anchor sank and that is why you not only did not have a picture, but removed the option from the menu board <grin>.PS: if you would like one, I would be more than happy to send you one from my vast collection <grin>.

it should be OK now... and the sunken 340 has been salvaged. :)

Well now! This is a great idea and seems to work well, however the 1979 Hunter I own and love dosen't look a whole lot like the pictures you've posted inside or out. Different windows, chart table, lockers, etc. Wonder how many 27 models there were? An advance project may be to have 27 owners for each yr send photo etc and find out. I sure don't know except that they all look like REAL boats.
