Lancer 29 bilge access

Does any one with a Lancer 29 have acces to the stern bilge? My 1979rear head model has no access, they run the teak and holley decking right over, and it is glued and screwed and pluged down to the deck. I am concerned how much clerance there might be between the dick and the outsid hull, and if there is room for my automatic bilge pump in there. any info will be appreciated.
The chamber is at the foot of rear companion lader.

On our 28, at the base of the ladder, a small section of the cabin sole lifts out revealing a small bilge, the last 18 or 20 inches of the keel. My bilge pump is located in this compartment. This is the only bilge in a 28...

Thanks for the reply, I guess my bilge must be diferent as it is about eight feet long, choped up by cross bilge braces. nice to hear from you By for now.
