Length of Engine Control Cables

I own a 1988 Catalina 34 Model C-34 with a 23 HP Universal Diesel engine.

I was able to find the size of cable in need from Edson but they did not know the length. Could someone tell me the length.

1st you got to establish how the control cables are run, then measure it along the way section by section and sum up. Then add say 10-15% length. You can't go wrong having it longer but get's it short and it'll cost you another purchase !!

If your boat has the stock controls and stock engine, why not ask Catalina. They should know what length engine control cables went into the boat they built, and unlike many other manufacturers, they're still in business.

The old cable will have the length stamped in the side of the cable......
