Dinnet table conversion

Was thinking about possible configurations of mounting the dinnet table to the head bulkhead, so that it would "fold up" for storage. Has any one considered or done this? I saw a ComPac 30 that had this with storage for plates etc behind, which I liked. A buddy of mine has a C30 with the table mounted to the bulkhead and it really opens up the cabin. Just kind of looking for thoughts or prior designs.

John - Check the current issue of Good Old Boat - there's a lengthy article about a conversion like this on a Catalina 36. Probably larger and more complex than you're interested in, but might give you some ideas. I've had the same thoughts, but wondered what to do with the big metal pedestal on the floor, which would leave some scars if removed.
