Lancer 27 ps sea trials

My 27ps should be delivered Friday and I'm looking at documents the prior owner sent.
Imagine my surprise when I read, on a copy of my boats sea trials sheet, that fuel consumption at high throttle settings is over 14 gallons per hour. Does that sound right?

It might be if it is for a 90+ hp outboard. A rough estimate is horsepower divided by ten. Since the Lancer powersailor is HEAVY compared to a similar sized power boat I wouldn't be surprised if 14 gph is a real number for a 90hp outboard on a 27PS. How big is the engine?
