The internal gooseneck fitting on my Ericson 35-III is broken beyond repair. It is an aluminum casting, Kenyon, and has 3 sheaves for reefing lines (2) and outhaul. The boom section is 6" x 3.75", external dimensions.

Rig-Rite has the exact assembly I need (p/n K-43002 on their web site) but they tell me I can't get it until next spring, and it costs about $850!

Anyone know of any other source for a replacement?

Atlantic Spars & Rigging in Annapolis was able to fabricate a new gooseneck fitting, using part of the old one (the part that fits into the boom) and heavy aluminum stock. They delivered the new fitting in two weeks, for considerably less than a new one cost from Rig-Rite. It fits and works perfectly.
