Does any one know the vessel height of a sirius 21/22? I have lake that has a 26 foot maximum vessel height and I do not want to get electrocuted.
Thanks

The mast on my sirius 21 is 24' long. Mast step is at least 2' above water line. Add some more height if you have an antenna or wind vane. You will definitely hit a line 26' above the water.

When approaching electrical lines I think you would want a lot of room for error too, cause you can only make the mistake once.

Be careful

btw --> when I pass under a 40' line near Fenelon you would swear that the mast is going to hit the wire as you are passing under it because the view from the cockpit gives you no perspective. It is scarry the first few times, and it makes you want you have a lot of room for comfort, and faith in the charts.

A change in water level. At this time of year for me, on Lake Simcoe, the water level is lowered by about a foot.
