I've got a C22 with a fixed keel. Is this iron or lead? Speaking of lead, anyone know a resource for a good ol' fashioned lead line, for sounding depths? Thanks.

I haven't looked at their catalog but I can't imagine they wouldn't carry it. I'm not sure about the keel but would be surprised (I often am) if it was iron. Could someone enlighten us please? LaDonna
The fixed keel would have lead encapsulated in fiberglass. The swing keel is the "iron baby". If you Email/call the Catalina Factory, I am sure they will tell you for sure. Regards, Ted
