I've got a line on Landfall 43 for sale. anybody here know anything about specific weaknesses or things to look for? amybe something to alert a surveyor to?

I found it to be well built, except the ones I looked at were very "tired". It has a hull liner like many of the newer boats. One of my problems with the boat was that I am 6' 2" and about 230lb, and I could not squeeze easily through the doors, particularly to the aft cabin - either front-on or sideways (probably says more about my profile than the boat :). I have found that small things like that can become very annoying after a while. For some reason I found the boat to be a little "smaller" below than other center cockpit boats in that size range. I finally chose a Pearson 422, you might want to take a look at those. Best of luck in your search, Derek
