To Owners of C&C 40T sailboats--I'm interested in knowing how some of you may have had reinforcement installed under the cockpit to reduce the twisting/torching of the boat aft the beam. The wood bulkhead under the lazerettes on both port and starboard creak loudly when under sail--rubbing on the fiberglass shape of the underside of the lazerettes. Any information would be greatly appreciated! I recently bought my C&C40T and LOVE IT!! Her refit has been extensive.

That sounds like a pretty tall order. Not sure what you can do to inhibit hull flex, short of dropping in a bulkhead. even that could be wrong if there's no load-bearing stringer in the hull at that point. I suggest you find a marine architect and have the boat assessed.
