on my 87 cat. 30 i recently purchased i didn't do a complete physical. i was looking for the water separator and filter. my 27 has a rancor so i assumed the 30 did to. am i looking in the wrong place or on the universal 25 do you have to add the filter.

I have a '91 C30 and the Racor water separator is located in the engine compartment (25XP) on the port side under the corner of the dinette setee. Happy hunting, John
I just added one on My Catalina 30. There was not one before and it was highly recommended by my mechanic
