Peggie, I recently purchased a '79 Catalina 30. I need to convert the MSD direct discharge to a holding tank. I want to locate the tank under the portside dinette settee (close to the head) but can't find a tank of sufficient size (12 gal +/-) to fit because of the slope of the hull. I tried looking in the Hunter Owners Emporium for your catalog but couldn't get in??? Where is the holding tank located on newer C-30s? Can you help? Regards, Jim Jrhootgibson@email@msn.com

JIM ON MY 85 CAT THE TANK IS LOCATED UNDER THE PORT SIDE SETTE BUT MORE AMIDSHIP. CONTACT "CATALINA DIRECT" ON INTERNET FOR PARTS AND ADVICE. GOOD LUCK DAVE

I contacted Catalina Direct, as you suggested, and bought a tank specifically designed for my C30. I had a nice conversation with The Head Mistress, herself, Peggie Hall, (before my call to Catalina Direct). She is a wealth of knowledge and could have remedied my situation also. She is a very nice lady. C.D. (in this case) had better pricing. This forum really works!!!
