Word has it that the Capri 14.2 mast is not strong enough to support a trapeze set or a spinnaker? Is this true?

I live in FLA and have a 14.2 spin in 15-20 knots.Ithink the boat is to unstable to trap with?

What type and size spinnaker do you have? And how did you rig for your pole?
