The anchor windlass on our 1992 C-42 jams on the 5/16 HT chain. It either jams between the stripper and the wildcat, or it doesn't strip properly and ends up winding clear around and fouling the incoming chain instead of dropping down into the chain locker. I always have to "tail" it by hand. Very dirty and dangerous work! Is the chain stripper installed incorectly at the factory? I don't see and way to adjust the stripper. Any ideas?
