DEAR HUNTER REP, WE OWN A 1979 HUNTER 30 SLOOP. CAN YOU PLEASE TELL ME IF THE KEEL BALLAST IS LEAD OR IRON ? THE KEEL BOLTS, ARE THEY STAINLESS STEEL? KEEL TO HULL JOINT SEALED WITH 3M 5200? Keel material prop size and a host of other vital stats are listed in the refrnc section of this site. We really wish folks would learn how to use the site so I'm asking you to try, please? The keel is cast the bolts are 316 ss and the huull/deck joint is joined with thru-bolted ss bolts and bonded with 5200...this is something I've repeated more times than I can remmember and I'm not gonna do it again. well maybe but try the site out..,ooookkk???
