Hi! I have an '87 H23, and I'm contemplating replacing the companionway hatch boards with one large piece of tinted plexiglass (I can store this under the V-Berth cushions when not in use). Does anyone know where I might be able to find sheets of Plexi large enough to do this? I'm in Key West, and I can't seem to find anyone down here who sells the stuff. Thanks, --Jon BastienH23 '2 Sheets to the Wind'

In the process of replacing the fixed ports on our 83-H34. Found a company here in Atlanta that will cut plexi to your specs. For 1/4 inch thick they only charge $3.12 a sq. ft. plus a 15% cut fee. I have not been down to thier facility yet to get my new ports but will do so this week.Comercial Plastics & Supply Corp.554 North Ave NW. Jim --Try the Yellow Pages under "Plastics" and then find a supplier. I did something similar, however replaced one of my teak washerboards with one made of acrylic. Found a supplier in the Yellow Pages who cut it to size with proper bevels on the edges to match the teak piece. It cost me about $20.00. I would expect a solid piece to run proportionately more. Good luck.Steve WinkleSea SquaredH30T
