I'm desperate. My Capri 26 is nearly on the mud. The lake I live on is now being used for it's designed purpose, a water source for the city of Houston. The level of the lake has dropped so low that I now have only 1.5ft under my wing keel. Future wide swings in depth are expected. The boat lift that was just a future luxury is now a present urgent need. No one I talked to has a clue what the lift should look like. They build mostly power boat and jet ski lifts.Does anyone out there have a workable design for a boat lift for my lady? Please rush your ideas as the level is dropping daily and there's no rain in sight.I can be reached at 409-856-8659 fax 409-856-3768email sailor26@sprynet.com

I have a Capri 26 which I haul out every winter. The marina uses a crane with a metal rack, from which is suspended two straps. Each year, prior to hauling, I supply the marina operator with a diagram of the boat so that he knows where to position the straps.I don't know if this information is of any use to you, but if it helps I can send you a photograph of the crane & rack via e-mail.You can contact me at ADanielson@erols.com.best of luck!
