I have converted my Starboard cockpit locker into a propane locker, having seen on previously converted. I have been unable to locate a vendor for the horizontal propane tanks I need though. The tanks are about the size of a scuba tank laying down. As I have seen this modification before, I know there are tanks available. If anyone has made this modification or knows of a vendor I can contact, I would appreciate it.

Seaward Products manufactures the horizontal propane tanks you require. West Marine sells many Seaward and Worthington tanks. WM may be able to special order the horizontal tanks you require. BTW, using the starboard locker is a great idea. Rod Kidd C-38 #297 Flying Bear

Sassy, I agree with Rod good idea. Mine is in the lazertt(sp?) currently and I need a new tank..so how are you going to run the vent?? My wife works for WM and she just said anyone of the stores can order it for you. Mike C-38 #169
