On this Thanksgiving weekend it seems proper to reflect on many who deserve our thanks. We'll start with our list, and you may want to add a few of your own. So, our heartfelt thanks to: - All the guys at Hunter Marine: Eddie in customer service, who has done us countless favors, answered our dozens of questions, and made many great introductions for us. He sells the site harder than we do. Greg, too, in customer service, has been especially helpful. Mike Thomas, who has helped us find many difficult and out-of-stock parts. John Peterson has been a terrific friend to this site and is a staunch supporter of owners. - Jim Bohart, without whom no list could be complete. Even though Jim's role diminished on the screen, his behind-the-scenes help continued. Many of the photos, previews, and great rumors we publish come from his laptop. All that, and, there's no one so much fun to hang out with at a boat show!- Peggie, our own Headmistress, whose contributions are legend, and has also been a wonderful advisor to us. - Phil Williams of Kenyon has tirelessly answered refrigeration questions and been an inspiration to us. - The many customers of our Emporium, plus our advertisers and forum sponsors, who have made it possible for us to run this site another year. - Kevin Woody of PYI, who gave us a shot in the arm when we needed it most. - Major thanks to the many who have helped us develop and test many new features this year. In particular, Carol Donovan, Steve Dion, and Bruce Grant have spent many hours helping find and fix a myriad of our (well, Phil's...) typos and lame code. - To the hundreds of owners who have spent hours writing, posting, and sometimes photographing their experiences, mistakes, and successes, so that everyone else can benefit from their knowledge. - And last but in no way least, thanks to the thousands of people who own boats of all kinds who come to HOW to read, learn, write, and have fun. Without you, there would be no web site and thousands of Hunter owners would be far poorer - literally and figuratively! To all of you, have a safe and sane Thanksgiving surrounded by family and friends!Phil and Bly

We certainly want to give thanks to Phil, Bly, Jim Bohart, Peggie, C-2 staff, all our supplier sponsors and forum hosts, the whole support team at Hunter Marine, and especially all the HOWers for making this one of the best web sites available. Good people, good information, and good sharing.May you and yours all have a happy and safe Turkey Holiday. We SoCal Hunters will have our rags up this weekend - the outlook is for sunny and 70s, so we'll get in a little extra sail remembering our friends in colder climes.Smooth sailing,Jeff, Carol & BCs/v Twilightp.s. Did everybody order from the HOW Emporium yet????

..for a great Thanksgiving to everyone who produces this fine site and to everyone who participates within it. It's great to have a little corner of the universe where we can share our hobby, have a few moments distraction from life's other imperatives, save a few dollars, spend a lot more, and, most importantly, make and enjoy good friends.Rick D.P.S. Carol, I did use the Emporium..

To Wondeful friends I've never met on this Thanksgiving. Thanks you all for encouraging me 4 years ago when I bought my 280. We learned, grew, learned more, and while nervous as he__, we bought the 380. It's been a wonderful 4 years here and it would not be complete without saying thank you to a few special friends.Phil and Bly, the Parents of HOW who've watched their child grow into adolesence, I'm sure not without their share of hardships, and continue to make improvemenst we all benefit from.To Paul B in Fla, whom I've never met, but who e-mailed me privately when I was buying the 380 to answer my many questions. Who I called at home as a total stranger, and hung up as friends. And who I always write to when I have a 380 question - Thanks! To Carol D. in Calif. whose sailing this weekend (read jealousy) and who sent me digital pics when I was thinking of making a modification to our boat she'd just made to hers - Thanks! To Dave Nolan and the guys and gals at Cape Yacht Sales on Cape Cod - They've always treated me great, and I'm only on my 4th boat purchase from them! Hey I should be a partner by now. To Eddie Breedan, the reason that Hunter thrives here, and in the real world. If I tell one more person how great he is he may become a saint faster than Mother Thresa. Eddie you are THE reason I bought my second big Hunter! Lastly to my wife Liz, who shares my love of sailing, not a fanatical as me maybe, but loves it and loves our time on the water together. To my son Bobby whose Opti racing last season surprised even his father who expects so much from him. And to my daughter Sarah, 8, who always is willing to go for a ride (read sail) with Dad.This is a truly Happy Thanksgiving.Bob KnottS/V SerenityH380Wychmere HarborHarwichport, MA
