I am looking for a simple gadget to diffuse the flame on the top burners of my Origo 6000 alcohol stove. The flame is a hot blue flame about 1" in diameter. Surely there is a device that will fit over the burner to spread out the flame to make cooking easier. I just can't find it. Your suggestions would be appreciated.

The flame diffusers you refer to were an add-on to my Origo 6000 that the original owner of my 87 H34 put on in 1993. The part was "Free" back in those days, according to the old literature I inherited and is part # 1070. They were available from your local stockist or from Origo AB Sweden, PO Box 1307 Tallevast, FL 34270-1307. I hope they are still available. Good luck.
