Crossing from Miami to Bimini

We are currrently moored in Miami, awaiting wind to change from N/NE to anything else! Has anyone made this crossing of the Gulf Stream recently, and if so, what were the conditions?Thanks much!

Don't attempt crossing in a north wind,Gulfstream very nasty. Seas will be short and steep, no fun. Suggest you sail down to Pumpkin key,anchor and wait for wind to come southeast. Go out Anglefish creek. You will have a fair wind for Bimini. Good luck red
