Shaft Vibration

My shaft vibrates when motor sailing. As soon as the boat begins to heel the shaft starts to vibrate. It seems as though it is coming from the cutless bearing and it is worse on a port tack. Is this normal ?

Check your motor mounts. I went thru something simaliar. I changed the cutlas bearing, installed a shaft saver, and installed a pps dripless stuffing box. Only to find out it was my motor mounts.
