Z spar mast and boom, so vang may be by same manufacturer. Assuming it it rigged correctly, the small diameter end attaches about 2 feet back on the boom from mast and the wider diameter end attaches to the base of the mast, the V-cleat faces forward on the rigid portion of the vang. Problem: the line regularly pops out of the v-cleat making the vang ineffective. Does any one have this set up and if so have you modified it or just replaced it? Is it rigged correctly? Comments appreciated. It's a 1994 model.
