I've been searching for people with pages about Grampian boats. They are very few and far between so I've started one on my site and will be adding information periodically with maintenance info, pictures and such. www.noyfb.org/grampian.html Regards, Kevin Hunter

Hello, I don't own a Grampian 30 but my parents did in the mid 80's when I was 10 years old. I am 27 now. Looking at your websit brought back memories as a kid. Haven't seen many 30 footers around. I work on a ship so I get to see a lot of boats. The Grampians seem to be mostly in the New England states. I saw one in Maine for sale last year. Do you have a problem with the keel? I remember there was bondo patch in the lead. on the port side of the keel about a foot up from the bottom midway down. On my Dad's boat. Do you have that problem? My parents bought the boat in essex Conn. Her name was "ATAUNT". It was an old sailing word meaning; Shipshape and fully rigged. It had tiller steering but my dad had to have a wheel. So I think that was the only thing that he had added. We had a lot of good times on that boat! I guess that's what it is all about. Good memories... I am shopping for an Irwin 38 right now. But I think that the Grampian put some thing in my blood because now I can't get away from the water! :) Good sailing and great memories... Mark Elwell NOAA Ship Whiting

I have just bought a grampian 26. Now that it's oout of water, the keel seems to be in dire need of attention. It is pocked wiht rust coming through the paint/coating, and cracked along some kind of seam - probably where it attaches. Anyone know where I might find drawings/info about the attachment?
