By trying to match the snaps installed by my dealer, the camper top on my H26 is pulled completely out of shape. Does anyone have a few hints on how to correct this installtion for a proper fit ?

The snaps must be put in correctly to begin with. The only way to correct is to fill the holes in with gel coat and start over. Take the camper top and drill the middle rear snap first and then the two corners. Go to the front and do those two. Afterwards do each side. Is yous a new one recently installed?

Hi Rich I thing that most of those camper tops were made by Ameriseam at http://bsd.torresen.com/ameriseam/ They have been very helpful regarding the camper top, bimini and jib bag that I purchased from them for my 23.5. Maybe they can be of help Good Luck

If the Dealer can't drill holes correctly, I would find another dealer!

Steve is correct that the installation was not put on correctly. The only major problem is filling in the holes and re geling those areas. It is time consuming to repair

Don't drill if you don't have to. The camper shell for my 23.5 didn't fit the snap pattern either (I bought mine over the internet and the boat already had the opposing snaps installed). After much study...DING!!! The light went off. Just add another snap to the shell. Instead of worrying about drilling, filling, leaks and all that fun stuff. Go to West Marine and get a set of snaps (maybe $5) and just add another snap where you need it. Ken
