I recently purchased a 3 bow Bimini from Catalina direct for my 22 ft. catalina hull #13980. The top is presently mounted to the deck outside of the cockpit. Has anyone mounted their Bimini to the cockpit and if so did this make it a better fit. It appears that this would raise the top another 8 inches or so and make it thinner. Mine is presently very difficult to get past to move forward and it reduces visibility dramatically. Any suggestions and advice would be appreciated
