View Full Version : ST4000 on Bavaria pedestal
Does anybody have experience with the installation of a Raytheon/Raymarine ST4000 in a Bavaria? The trouble is the installation of the drive in the pedestal as you will have to drill, but where and how to make it work as you only get one chance to do it proper. Bas

Give their tech support people a call. I have talked to them a couple of times about problems with my 3000, and they are very helpful and knowdledgable.

i installed the same unit on my endeavour. mount the wheelpilot on the wheel,take the post and hold it in the hole in the back of the pilot center it on the pedestal,making sure it fits in the pilot hole without binding ,mark the holes, drill and screw or tap the holes,its fairly easy ,dont be scared. good luck jeff

i had one just installed on my 960. they person who installed it passed away but i do have a couple of photos, if you are interested
