I have a tag glued to the deck of the boat with the number 002712. The number on the sail is 108. In what year was this boat built?
John - Your Hull Identification Number is the official link to the year your boat was built. If it's pre-1972 (I think) you'll need to find a manufacturer's guide to the numbers. Post '72 numbers are governed by USCG regulations and are easily read if you have the secret USCG decoder ring. Try asking at the Sunfish_Sailor owner's support group.
