I picked up a sailboat (about 15 ft.) It has a wooden mast. It says on the name plate grampian yauht club #13380 (could anybody tell me about this boat)

Grampian Marine Ltd. in Oakville Ontario made a number of 15 ft. Albacore dinghys back in the '70's and '80's. Where did you pick it up? Does it have sails and if so what country and sail number might be on the mainsail? Many yacht clubs use the Albacore as a club training dinghy, and I suspect the name plate originated with the yacht club who owned it. There should be a hull number stamped into the boat somewhere.
