Bedding compound for keel step mast - s37

I recently had to pull the mast step on my Seidelmann 37. It's secured by the two keel boats and four smaller bolts 2 fore and aft into adjacent frame members. The mast step plate approx. 8x12 inches was bedded in a thick (1/2 inch) flexible compound, that looked like a form of rubber. Does anyone know what this might be and where I can acquire some. I'm thinking of bedding the plate in thickened expoxy to level the area. Thanks.

it is 5200.

Yep, 5200 is my guess too. I would add that bedding with epoxy is probably not a good idea. You or the next owner may want to get it out again.
