I intent to race my Seidelmann 299 next year in PHRF rated races. Does anyone out there know what my PHRF rating should be? I've a regular rig with a 110% roller jib, no spinnaker. Any information would be appreciated. Thanks

Go to a Race Committee member in the series you plan to race in. They will tell you which local or national rating certificate you need to submit with your registration. You submit a form to that agency with a small fee and they will assign you a handicap rating. The established 29.9 and 30T base rating is 183. You will get adjustments for variables like non-spinnaker(+21), type of headsail(+6 furler), and type of propeller(+12 three blade prop).
