Hi again............................. has anyone replaced the lower shrouds, for the 1981 model of the S25????? I am looking for the measurements. My stbd. lower has seen better days. I am trying to avoid going up the stick, until I have the replacements in hand. The winds have been ready for me to sail however, me ship is not. Arrrrrrrrrrrrr!!! Thanks in advance, g9334

I always seemed to have a copy of the plans for my boats, not this one, a 25ft I ahve now. Without the plans, most rig shops will have the answer, maybe Moody will jump in here. If I wer doing it, I'd just take it down, take it to a rig shop and have it cut 1/4" shorter due to streatch or check how much you have for slack on your turn-buckles. The lowers are the easiest, likely need no other extra stay for it while it is down, but don't sail her till she's fixed! We once started an engine, after a rebuild with zero oil in it! A BSA motorcycle, had to do it again..;-)
