What are the latest brand of waxs that seem to shine the best and last all season? I have been using Collinite paste wax. This was based on Practical Sailor evaluations several years ago. It seems that 3M brands apply easier? Any comments? John Dewey cat 310 hull 249

Last May I put a coat of West Marine Carnauba Paste Wax on my boat...easy on, easy off. Even though the boat sits in the water all year, it looks great and the rain water still beads. Boat Works just did a test, and they like West Marine One Step Fiberglass Cleaner Wax...it's a liquid.

liquid or paste but the paste is supposed to be better. I've not used the paste but just bought it. What I don't like is that you have to wipe it off before it dries. Just some thoughts.

There is a good discussion there on the various waxes available.
