I am wondering whether anyone has had any experience with RigRite out of Warwick RI.Specifically, I had faxed an inquiry for what I had understood to be"instock" items ( Mast and spreaders) and had not yet received ANYTHING in the form of ANYTHING.That has been since Monday this week. Am I too impatient or is there something else I need to be aware of?John Brysacz

I think they had some sort of fire there a while ago and the place is just not up to full capacity yet. I had a simialr experience a few months ago.

i've had good experience with rig-rite in the past. Interestingly my seidelmann 1980 37' spars were manufactured apparently by a now defunct australian firm called shearwater(?), which means if you want replacement parts you do it yourself.

Seems to me like a few months ought to have at least remedied any inability to offer a quotation. I think that there is something else awry.I have also left two additional phone messages requesting some kind of reason/explanation for the delay. Were you able to resolve your request?John

I've ordered from them twice now. Each time I've faxed in a request for quote, then faxed in an order. They seem to respond to the quote in 3-4 days. My last order (just two weeks ago) I received in less than a week. I've found that they will respond to faxes, but that's all. The phone number is worthless. The fire was almost two years ago, they should have recovered by now.

Rig Rite did finally get me a quotation--it was about $1000 higher plus $500 freight than A local sparbuilder who was doing the whole job--not merely supplying a mast and spreaders
