Has anyone had any luck repositioning the boom traveler away from its position right in front of the main hatch? I plan to install a dodger and its current location will interfere the dodgers location.

I have a S37 vs a 299, but if you go to the photos associated with Sunri II you will see how I moved the traveler track/main sheet attachment to a bridge above the coach roof. I was fortunate enough to be doing W/E work back in the 90's for my father in-law which gave me access to aluminum stock and welder -- and to have the skills to fabricate a bridge that would allow me to use the existing track...the rest was just simple rigging.
