I do some distance racing on Lake Michigan, such as the queen's cup the the Chicago to Mackinaw races. On lake Michigan, our phrf rate is 96, which seems a little low to me. If you race anywhere in the US, what is your rating? Also, has anyone found any tricks to improve your performance? Please e-mail me at dykstrabj@aol.com Thanks

Brad, Bob just raced our C-42 in both Macks -- didn't do very well, but got good experience and had a wonderful time! Ready to go next year for the "big one"! In any event, our PHRFs for all three Great Lakes (our home base is Lake Erie) ranged from 96-99 -- I was surprised they were so close. I requested information on PHRFs before he registered (the Port Huron application asked for race results for sisterships).
