Just purchased this old Grampian boat and would be interested in the year it was made. All I have is the hull #1676. From all the ads it appears that they were quite popular in their day and continue to have a faithful following. The base of the trunk appears to be a 2x6 imbedded in fiberglass. It is showing some deterioration. What am I likely to find should I take it apart this winter? From the discoloration there appears to be a significant quantity of rust under the fiberglass as well. Sails fine as is but it looks a bit neglected. Thanks for any info you can share. Bob
