The Mastervolt charger/inverter on our HR36 was recently damaged in an electrical storm and must be replaced. We have not been pleased with Mastervolt so we are considering a different manufacturer. Do any HR owners have non-Mastervolt units...perhaps Xantrex ?

Hello - While I don't have an HR, I am curious to know why you didn't like the Mastervolt. In any case, I would be careful with Xantrex as they have had reliability issues; check out Victron Energy. They offer variable input for overseas. Best of luck, Trevor

First, thanks for the info on Victron Energy. Our Mastervolt charger was advertised as a 65 Amp unit but it never provided us with 65 Amp at the dock (at most 55 Amp). Now that we are in a market for a new unit Mastervolt admits that our 65 Amp model really doesn't provide 65 Amp. So it is time for a change.
