Has anyone replaced the factory head with a vacuflush system?

They have been in service for almost 3 years with no problems. Love the fresh water flush with no smell.

I purchased a Catalina 310 from Toronto, Canada in the Spring that has a vacuflush head. The previous owner enthusiastically told me that my spouse would love the vacuflush because there was no smell. He was correct. You have to inform guests the head is using about a pint of your fresh water nwith every flush. One night in Les Isle de la Madeleine, my entire 35 gallon supply of potable water was used by two guests cleaning freshly dug clams. This left the head without a supply of water to flush. I ended up using bottled water for the task until I could press up the FW again. I have had the boat for over six months and have no concerns with the installation. Regards, Chris Connor
