Sorry, Those grainy, low rez, sneakin' through 3 boats and a marina shots just don't have enough detail to make a good call on the best course to take. Repositioning the wenches/winches is very tricky biz. Brian and Steph have the best example for "close up/ hi-res/ hi-quality/ attn to detail" that's usually needed for such important work. Close-ups from all angles in varying eqt are appriciated/expected.Glad S&B got the photo dilema fixed.Try, try again..(just to stay on topic)Nice boat. Hey, anything I can do to help keep the quality up:)Michael and Kelli

If she were blond she'd look like my wife. Took her to the Caribbean too, to show her off. Except I took every opportunity to encourage her to not wear anything. ;D And she usually didn't (wear much)
If I had a pair of Elves like that helping me on Christmas Eve I am not sure how many delivers I would get made.

Every one I've ever taken, and there are hundreds, she's not wearing more than a thong. And that means the Caribbean way; no top. I guess she's more comfortable where most every woman is doing the same thing. *o

Laurie is the exact same way. Something about the freedom of not having to wear support for a while. I have to make her put on a top just to take a picture.I am pretty sure I heard that from someone else around here too.I just have never seen her more happy than when she is laying on the tramp, and reading a good book, topless.

"Let's hear an update on Epitome soon."It dawned on me this morning (oops, no pun intended) that you might be accessing my old site that is still up. Here's the new one. Same stuff, just more.
Wow Fred you have a lot of photos. Photos of an old boat torn apart can be interesting. But I'd rather see photos of the boat babe running about the Bahama's(or where ever) in her smallest bikinis. A boat ready to sail with a pretty crew is more interesting than a project. Project photos just remind me that I need to work on my boat.
Okay guys, Steph said she was an overachiever and was aiming at 10K views. Let's get this thing over 10K to see what will happen next!

Not that anybody else noticed from the shot above but thats not the ol' Hunter 25.5 we've grown to love, unless brian's been hard at the teak work and expanded the stern.....extensively. Maybe Steph's shopping for a little more length at the waterline?? Calendar? Hey why not. You can write off all the travel to exotic locations and have an enormous bikini selection too:). I say it's a win, win for everyone. Of course my Kelli will protest but maybe you could do a computer day planner version with a Steph of the day and some sobering shots of Brian in his best electrical hair as a quick key default screen.I can't believe where this thread is going, 13k views. On one hand there is something a bit odd that has developed with a bunch of middle-age sailor guys having online flirting sessions with a very attractive young woman. On the other hand Stef is obviously enjoying herself as are the aforementioned old salts. So, if you don't like this stuff then I'd suggest you skip the threads where these pix are posted. As for those who do enjoy the photos - remember to minimize the screen when the Admiral is nearby!!P.S. Stef, nice Mini!

the chocolate, Because chocolate is toxic to cats and dogs. You need to use your Godiva or your Cadbury's or your Hershey's on a pretty two legged creature.
chocolate is toxic to dogs and cats and it is in large quantities. If you weigh 150 pounds and one piece of chocolate is enough for you then 1/10 of a piece is enough for your fifteen pound dog and it won't harm him. You wouldn't share chocolate piece for piece with a fifteen pound baby human. A little common sense can go a long way in life.

I say this with absolutely no seriousness but every time you feed your pet a little bit of "poison" you should take a little bit of arsenic or lead just for laughs ;-)All kidding aside, a friend of mine feeds his dog grapes which are also not good for dogs and his pup is fine. Although without the grapes maybe the dog would have gone onto greatness like solving world peace or curing cancer!Tim R.
My daughter is very sad over the loss of her dog Friday. The dog ate a bag of trail mix that was full of raisens. Apparently they are toxic enough to cause kidney failure and even though she took the dog to the vet she died. Apparently one of their friends forgot the bag of trail mix and the dog found the bag and ate it all. Deedee was bad about eating people food whenever she got the chance.
the dog. It is almost like loosing a mamber of the family. Trail mix often has rasins and chocolate in it. Even a large human would be ill after eating an entire bag of trail mix. Dogs will eat anything they can reach but in the wild they don't have access to large amounts of any single food.
you can ignore. It is perfectly safe for you to eat all the chocolate you want. Scientific studies have proven that chocolate is good food for Bikini Babes. ;)

Here's what I think is a great name (See Title) to rename Brian & Steph's dinghy (Pocket Lint), if they were ever to lose it for good like they almost did on their last Bahamas trip. It all goes along with their boat name, "Empty Pocket".

consider marketing his swim platform/ladder/rudder assembly concept. Many of the small Hunters (25-27) could benefit from that retrofit.

sounds like some of you never saw a girl before.
Hey Brian, have you ever considered a book to capture your travels? There is a web site I found this past October that makes printing your own book easy. I am not advertising for them in any way. I wanted to capture a story my Mom used to tell so it would be recorded for my grandchildren and to give to my Mom as a Christmas gift. I found an illustrator and well, the book was published and printed. It was the best thing I ever did. I paid just under $30 each for a book that is hard bound, library quality with great colors and graphics. You could creat a living memory for the two of you and even put together cruising guides and tips for some of us.Just a thought.I can imagine you two are busy with your new venture (solar stik), but a few minute at a time and before you know it you are imortal for as long as the book survives. Some of us would enjoy it.Take a look at the site:blurbdotcom.

Greetings all,Let me just say, Miami was great. Brian and Steph, it was great to finally meet you both. Give me a call when you're in the area. I still owe you a beer, and a grouper sandwich. The calendar and book project sounds like a sure winner.Wouldn't you have liked to been the Dominoes pizza guy that night at the Lats and Att's party. Woo Hoo!!! Eric Stone rocked the house. But, it's back to reality now, sitting at my desk, it was 37 degrees in Tampa this morning. Isn't Florida great!!!Ross in Tampa1979 Oday 25 "Lola"

Hey Cap'n Bob, we swam, skied and camped on Keowee 8 straight years, great lake. Now the kids are grown, wife and I want to relax and do some sailing.I will need a good off load ramp as my keel boat water line sets about 4 feet above the tarmack. Is there a good ramp at the south end and will the sail boat club allow visitors to tieup for a few minutes?I think Steph would look nice in a one piece suit, right Magothy BoyDavid S

The whole area, despite the fact I graduated from FSU, :-) is a great place. The climate is very nice, even in the late summer. Unfortunately, Keowee does not have ocean access.... Our plan is to sell the Atlanta house, and buy on the water between Oriental NC, and Charleston SC, and keep the lakehouse for the kids.
I know I am old and slow but, if you take off the top doesn't the bottom become a one piece?I am glad this thread came back to life. How long can we go?

Update time:#1. Whaddya' mean this thread's dyin'??? 2#. I am on the road... currently in Deltaville, VA. (lot's of sailboats, but NO internet here) #3. ...yeah, I know about the name change... What can I say?? I got trumped by the "Boat Babe" with readers... so I had to pay some homage and take the "second chair"...#4. I never made the final post... it got lost amid the Solar Stikking chaos.#5. ...Steph is in S.C. today, and will be making a triumphant return to St. Aug. tonight... I'll be back to FL on Sunday.#6. Ok, I've done a few of the installs... but I am taking GREAT time and effort to make sure that a Solar Stik installation can be done without me present. This trip up the eastern seaboard was to stop in and meet with a few new "installation stations" and go over the procedures. #7 ...WHOA! ...now she's definately been in the sun a bit too long!#8. ...anybody need anything from VA while I am here?and lastly, Ross is correct... that picture is of me installing the latest technology in coastal missile defense systems aboard a documented sailboat for use in the Bahamas.

This is the only thread I usually check daily so Puleez let me defend my humble observation on "the thread becoming played out". See post #270. My eyes still hurt, shocking/surreal/ouchie. Wooden girls, and Don Knotts mother. What's a guy to do but throw down the gauntlet and challenge all sailors to go sailing and get some(tactful) shots of their real first mates while onboard a real sailboat. IMHO it doesn't have to be glamerous just follow the early lead, going out on the water with real mates, new/old pics of anywhere you sail. It's a sacrifice but for the sake of Carters grandma never becoming a "boat babe" I'll go sailing this weekend and try to get a couple of new pics. The U.S. weather is good in the SE from Brownsville Tx, around the Keys to Charleston Sc and beyond. Soooooo maybe somebody/anybody is sailing with a camera???. There are guys still snowed in who need your help here. There could be long term effects when a frozen sailor thinks Milton Burrell in drag is a typical quality first mate:) .....Must redeem the thread and break the (very)ugly spiral*o.......Blinded by the fright....Leave it to our good friend George to shock us back on topic. Tens of thousands of views and only 1/2doz guys post pics of their pride and joy(no, not the boat!..well maybe with mate). Don't be so reluctant to follow Brian and Stephs exellent example capn'.Michael

Captain Bob, have I pegged it? Last time I was there was 1993, but it sure looks familar.
They can function as autopilots, cooks and general boatkeepers and gofers. Then provide "special services" when the sailing gets slow. Some of these boatbabes look a little newer than mine but probably can't cook as well. The newer boatbabes probably require more "upkeep" and I'm getting older too.

As much as I like sailing alone, it sure is nice when the admirable is on board!I do all that stuff when I am alone so I might as well do it with the her on board. I have to say the Admirable does more than her share now. The only problem I have is that meals must be on a schedule instead of eating when I am hungry. Now, I eat when it is time. I am about 30# ok, 39# over weight, but I am also in hope of adding new activity to help the weight. My problem is I just like to eat so when it is there, I eat. Ok, so I am going on and on but I know, boat Babes like buff guys! So, We like the Boat Babe look,we should do the same for them.Wow this might hurt!r.w.landau
ground hog and wishing him ill. Well I am able to report that this morning on Maryland route 543 approximately 1/2 mile north of MD route 22 said ground hog was struck and killed by a motor vehicle. THE ground hog. It may have been a close cousin or possibly an heir apparent. Do you know if paw prints are on file for a positive ID? I don't think a post mortem will be conducted as I think I heard some remark that the hounds eat tonight.

The picture of your boat has me totally perplexed *oAm I the only one that is looking at this picture and see something very wrong or Odd?? Before anyone scrolls below take a look at the picture and see if you see anything odd -- Answer below ........'''''''''''''Ok . It looks like the wheel and the helm is faced backwards . At least the way I am looking at it. Unless this is a very unique sailboat most Companionways are forward on the boat. Here it looks like the wheel is on the opposite side of the helm right next to the companionway.Optical illusion? Odd Boat? Magic? The wife wouldn't let me do it. I have to rope it and yank it out of the pool ,and throw it on the lawn. Th dog did go after it, but was too slow or nice to kill it. If I would have the gun in hand, and I was a better shot, I would have had it hanging before the wife got out there. As it is, this was a new pool, and I am a crappy shot, I went for the grabbing it and throwing it. I will tell you that if this year I get one in the pool, I will have a great feast. Email me and I will invite or ship. I am a deer and pheasant hunter, but if that is all I had to live on, I would be a lot thinner and probably dead.......... Spring is in the air. That means dry weather, low lake levels, gator mating season and a chance you'll come home from work and find a new tenant:http://www.nbc4.tv/news/10703605/detail.htmlActually, gators rarely get into pools because most are screened in, but there's always that chance...PeterH23 "Raven"

You should have put the turtle in a bikini form Victoria's Secret!!!
Me and My Boat Babe aka Janie are going to spend a couple of weeks on vacation starting this weekend. We plan to spend much of that time on the boat. I know a little about the gators. There are a lot in the upper end of Mobile Bay and we've visited them in our kayaks. It feels a lot more personal in a kayak as compared to a 32' sailboat. We saw several motoring up the Tenn-tom. the first big one my boat babe who was on deck advised me to change course cause I was heading straight for a "big log". well the "Big Log" swam across the river and posed for a few photos. There are a few gators on Wheeler lake. The ones that we have seen were mostly small but we saw one that was about 9'. They are mostly up in the creeks that flow into the lake. I can't decide to go up river or down. The smallmouth bass are supposed to be biting on Pickwick. (Smallmouth aren't as tasty as Tuna but they taste pretty good.) But we would kinda like to see the river just below Chattanooga where it goes through a canyon. I've flown over it and it is pretty from the air. Saturday there are some sailboat races and a social that we'll probably attend. After that it's anybodies guess where we'll be Sunday night. But I'll bet my boat babe will keep me warm at night.

Apples and WineWomen are like apples on trees. The best ones are at the top of the tree. Most men do not want to reach for the good ones because they are afraid of falling and getting hurt. Instead, they sometimes take the apples from the ground that are not as good, but easy. The apples at the top think something is wrong with them, when in reality, they are amazing. They just have to wait for the right man to come along, the one who is brave enough to climb all the way to the top of the tree. Now Men.... Men are like a fine wine. They begin as grapes, and it is up to women to stomp the $%#& out of them until they turn into something acceptable to have dinner with.

But shouldn't it say "Nauti-Wine"!? :{
But get real. Most guys given a choice of a 20 or 30 something woman or a 40 or 50 something woman would pick the younger woman. Most women given the choice of a younger man with six pack abs or some old salty dog with bad breath and a beer belly would choose the younger man. I love my wife and have no intentions of changing first mates. But if I was starting over with a new woman I'd go for someone younger....probably have to settle for someone older. As always with such things having a personality and a brain is more important than T and A...but wow P and B with T and A now we are talking. Now if I can just get rid of this beer belly and bad breath...light beer and breath mints?? Princess you are younger than me or my wife and look good. Keep posting!!! And for the record though she trys to be discret I've noticed my wife enjoying looking at younger men.

If we are telling tales without submitting evidence my wife looks just like Sophia Loren when she made "Boy on a Dolphin" and might I add that we dance together like Fred and Ginger.
