Installation of rear port on a HR53

I am about to install the rear window (it is not an opening port) on a HR 53, my question is when I remove the old one, is bedding compound required? and if so what brand do you reccomend?Len

want the window to leak! The type of bedding compound you choose depends on how often you want to re-bed the window. I would use something on the order of sikaflex that din't have a very high bond strength.edit to add: you own a half million dollar boat and you ask questions like this?
