I have a 30 Bristol and my decks seem to be coming loose from the plywood core. I have checked at the few places where anything does go through the decks and can detect no water nor rot. I am planning on just using epoxy to re-glue the decks down. I wanted to know if anyone else has had this problem, and what they did/found.

On my B24, the boat has been neglected for many years by the previous owners. Most of the core was rotten, specially on the forward deck. I found a solution in Don Casey's book: This Old Boat. It has been a major job. I drilled half inch holes every 6 to 8 inches through the top layer, with a piece of steel wire ( clothe hanger) I rmoved as much as possible of the loose rotten wood core. then I fille the cavity with epoxy resin. Now I have a fairly decent deck with an epoxy core.
