Hi there- Looking to seal a deal on a Ranger 26. Was wondering if I should take note of any Ranger specific red flags before buying, i.e. (any rigging issues particular to Rangers, bolted keel issues?, bilge problems out of the norm). New to the Ranger community so thanks for any advice on what to look for.

check the compression posts under each side of the door frame for rot.
Hello Folks- I bought an R-26 a few months ago. Have been working on and sailing this great boat, all the while. However, the door between my main cabin and V-birth scrapes at the top. I guess the is a sign of some mast compression. (just a bit) How do I tell if it's rot, or better yet, just age. Is it dangerous? Thanks.
