I just bought a 71' Daysailor 2. Do you have any hints or suggestions? Possibly an owners manual? Anything is appreciated.

I've just been through first year of ownership of 20+ year old DSII. Like you, I had lots of questions. Suggest you get to the DS Association web site and look around. AND get to the site of the current builder. I like the DSII layout better than the more traditional DSI style. Yes, the centerboard is pretty weird. After a while you get used to judging what means UP vs Down. Let me know if you have specific questions, and I'll share what I've learned. Bob Cramer
