I have a 28' Lancer. I have run aground in the past. I am looking to buy a depth and fish finder. I don't know what one. I believe I have what is called a shoal keel. From the water line to the bottom of the keel is 3'9"approx.Also price is a concern. Any help will be great . Jim
...those who have run aground, those who are going to run aground and liars. Depth/fishfinders are dirt cheap. If the fishing part isn't all that important I'd imagine you could buy someone's old fishfinder for nothing on ebay. Just checked, you could probably pick up used for about $50, but see the link below for both new fishfinders and an in-dash depth meter for $100. Bob
