Hello out there,I'm the happy and lucky owner of a Yamaha 29.I think there is only two boats of that brand and size in Denmark.That's why I'm asking my quistion here.Is there any of you Yamaha owners in particular ownwers of Y29 tha have any experience in teak acommodation on the deck of a Y29?Could you supply me with pictures?Best regards Poul Enrico Nielsen

At one of the artificial teak products. There are a couple available, but Plasteak is the only one that my mind can think of right now. I also must ask why. Not only will this take a major investment, if you use real teak, you have the maintenance that goes with it. I would assume the imitations require less maintenance, but it is still going to be a manor amount of money.

Thousands and thousands of dollars to remove it due to water infiltration of the core and wear and tear. Consider gluing it down instead of screwing oh and as others have said also consider "fake" teak for the maintenance aspect. You can also expect to pay near what you paid for your boat to add teak decks as it's very labor intensive..
