I have recently purchased a 1981 9.2a. what is the general fuel milage? I have the standard yanmar 2gm engine

I don,t know the size of the fuel tank on my 9.2A, but my guess is about 15 gallons (I will measure it and calculate the capacity one of thes days). I have owned my 9.2A for almost a year and have not used a whole tank of diesel fuel (thank goodness at todays fuel prices). My guess is less thsn 1/2 a gallon per hour.
a quart an hour if you have the 2QM15 from what my sources tell me. I haven't splashed mine yet for the first time, but that is what my surveyor and a few other sailors have told me. However, Jim has first had experience. My tank is labeled 18 gallons. Bob
