33-2 Bow Nav Light Shorting Out/Replacement.

Hi All,My bow [split] nav light starting shorting out in heavy seas last year so I replaced it with a new Perko unit but it seems that the wiring running from the V-berth up and through the bow pulpit has chaffed somewhere.Has anyone replaced these wires? When I start pulling the wires through it's very very tight. Success stories?Thanks,Jonathan

are different, JD. There's just no way for anyone to tell you, "Wow, I had NO trouble pulling my wires at all!" Certainly doesn't help you out, now does it?Most obvious is the direction of pull and going for short sections at a time, but I'm guessing you knew that.All the best, Stu
